Who Gave Him Thanks?  (Ice Breaker – O’Violet J. Oree)
There are many stories in the scriptures that describe several who have been healed, delivered, and set on the path of righteousness.  Are you familiar with their stories?  They are just like us, ordinary folks with extraordinary stories of deliverances and so forth.  We read about them and they inspire us to keep believing and to allow the Lord to have his way.  See if you know who these are that gave him thanks.

A Woman is Who She Thinks She Is   (Presenter – O’Violet J. Oree)
“As a man thinks in his heart so is he,” Who do you think you are?  Are you in line with your God given purpose?  Or are you operating by what others think of you?  Let’s learn to appreciate ourselves and thank God that we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Giving Him Thanks in Brokenness (Presenter – Vanetta Webb)
There are two types of brokenness.  This workshop will explore both of them.  Scriptural support will be provided and discussion on key steps in maintaining a heart of thanksgiving in our lowest times.  It is very important to do so and you will learn why that is.

Reshaping and Renewing the Brain (Presenter – Evangelist Mary Washington Everette)
This workshop will share some practical exercises to reshape and renew the brain.  We will make use of guided imagery and visualization that will helps us to relax and begin to restructure our thoughts and help us appreciate the joy of living.

Even When God Says NO, I Will STILL Give Him Thanks   (Presenter – Evangelist Annette Dunmeyer)
It may seem like God will sanction every request we ask of Him.  But that is not so.  He has and will say NO sometimes.  That’s because he knows best and in these times we all need to learn to still give Him thanks.

Give The Lord The Praise    (Presenter – Evangelist Sharon Choice)
Give Him praise because He deserves it and when we do, everything else will fall in line.  When we praise Him we don’t have time to worry about our problems.  God will take care of it.  You praise Him and let Him work it out!

Having the Courage to Walk in Your Purpose  (Presenter – Adina A. Oree)
This workshop will help you discover your gifts and walk in your God-given purpose.  You just don’t know how God will move in your life.  You and I must be ready to move with God and take on every opportunity He gives us to benefit ourselves and the lives of others. If nothing else be a role model of the good that the Lord allows you to experience just to motivate others of where God will take you when you make the decision to do the right thing.  We don’t get there by ourselves because he uses a lot of people along the way to open doors for you and for that we give him thanks.

2015 Recap

On March 13, 2015 we held yet another P.A.T.T. Conference in Charleston, SC at the Plaza Hotel on Goer Drive in North Charleston.  Our theme was “Journey With the Lord.”  Our lives have really taken us on a journey and it was encouraging to hear others talk about their experiences and share lessons learned.

On Friday night there was singing, poetry, eating and a word from Mrs. Oree, founder of P.A.T.T., who welcomed us to the beginning of this glorious P.A.T.T. Conference.  New faces and new energy filled the room.  We were able to take a journey back to the beginning of P.A.T.T. and see how the Lord had brought us over the past years.

On Saturday our workshops were informative and inspiring as the ladies shared great insight and wisdom with us.  You could feel the presence of the Lord in the midst.  Deborah Dawson talked about taking Joy On Our Journey, Montreal Ravenel shared Living With Purpose, Evangelist Mary Everett spoke on A Journey Through the Steps of Jesus, Lorrie Lawrence highlighted aspects of Dealing With the Journey, and O’Violet J. Oree talked about Journeying With the Lord: The Invisible Woman.  These ladies had themselves together and it seemed like fire came down from heaven and burned up everything negative in our lives.  Deliverance was felt in us as the presenters let the Lord use them.

We had two guest groups to sing for us during the Saturday evening banquet.  Faye Hanton and a group of women from her church sang two inspirational songs.   Megan Middleton, Fran, and a friend were three young women with such anointed voices.  Their harmony was so rich and melodious.  It was like angels singing and a heavenly presence engulfed all of us.  Our banquet speaker was Sharon Grier of Charlotte, N.C.  She put the icing on the cake as she spoke about doing the W.O.R.K. that it takes to pull us from an unhealthy journey, physically and emotionally, to a place of journeying on with balance and wholeness in our lives.  That wrapped up the conference and we had an awesome time as always because the presence of the Lord was there.

2014 Recap

March 14, 2014 marked our first PATT Conference to be held in Charleston, SC.  We were at the Inn Place Hotel on Goer Drive of North Charleston, SC.  It was amazing.  It seems like we plan the conference and put it together, but the mood and the environment is all God’s doing.  Each time we have these conferences God just shows up in such wonderful ways.  Our theme last year was Dealing With Women’s Issues.  You know we have issues, but there is not one of them that God cannot help us handle or resolve.

We started off our welcome reception in a cozy little room set aside just for us to talk and to share.  After all the introductions, Deb de Poet shared one of her awesome poems, “Whose Shoes?”,  Lorraine Frasier and Vanetta Webb sung for us, and our founder O’Violet J. Oree gave a welcome speech.  By the time we got up Saturday morning, we were ready for a day of workshops and spiritual food.  Mrs. Oree started us off with the top twenty women issues survey and it was interesting to hear the results that were shared.  Deborah Dawson talked about sister to sister relationships and we learned that God can hook a sister up.  Lorrie Lawrence showed us how to deal with the issues we have and that means we can stay in character as we do so.  Dr. Yvonne Commadore talked about the family and emotional traumas that we experience.  It was an eye opener because we have practiced so many things incorrectly for years and it seems like we are straining when we try to break free.  Mrs. Oree shared lessons learned from women being in ministry.  There were many emotional break through moments for us that day.  Who would have thought that all of this information spoke directly to some of the things we were facing?  That’s why I said God takes over after we do the planning.

The Saturday night banquet put the icing on the cake.  Deb de Poet and company performed a play called “Ms. Millie”.  Vanetta Webb sung from her heart.  The food was good, especially the red velvet cake.  But we weren’t prepared for the thunder from heaven, as our speaker Co-Pastor Angela Washington, of Jehovah Gireh Family Worship Center, let the Lord cut loose in her.  It just seemed like all of the worships from that day came to a head.  What we missed during the day session was restored that night.  We just want to thank all of you that came, thank all our presenters and our speaker, and thanks so much to those who helped plan and who helped to implement.  Tell others to not miss another conference.  See you 2015!
